More from Louisbourg

Some of the other things we enjoyed was the museum with artifacts from back in the 17th century as well as witnessing a public punishment of a man who had stolen some wine, the canon firing and lots of homes with people dressed in period costume acting out their part as if they lived back then. After a few hours of wandering the colony we headed to a wonderful restaurant for a hearty homemade meal. We had to wear our napkins tied around our necks because that is how it was done back then .
