Annual sister visit!

My sister Ainslee and niece Brooklyn arrived on Friday morning after a crazy travel time on Thursday with them being grounded in Syracuse due to high winds in Buffalo! We went over to pick them up on Friday morning at the Buffalo airport after they drove from Syracuse. We headed straight to Build a Bear as I had promised MacLean that she could get with a gift certificate. Brooklyn got some clothes for her bear. We then headed to the Rooster to meet my parents for lunch. It was great and we all enjoyed some down time and caught up on what is new in our lives. We went to my parents house and relaxed with some tea and sat in the basement while the kids just went crazy upstairs. They were making forts and other stuff while we just lazed around on the couches drinking tea.

Friday night we had an early dinner of two different kinds of pasta with meatballs and primavera it was yummy. After dinner we just watched a bit of tv. MacLean and I went home early as Brooklyn was needing to get a good nights sleep. Ainslee enjoyed her annual job of putting up the Christmas tree and mom and dad's house. It was fun we laughed and listened to Christmas music. WE went home and to bed so we could be ready for the day of fun on Saturday.
